Mike Mullins
Owner/Funeral Director
Mike was born and raised in Amariilo, TX graduating from Tascosa High School in 1986. Attended Amarillo College before moving to Dallas to attend Dallas Institute of Funeral Service, graduating in 1991. Mike has held various positions within the funeral profession in his 17 years as a funeral director. In 2004 he and his wife founded Colonial Funeral Home in Dimmitt, TX. Through his years in the funeral profession he has served on the board of directors for various businesses and organizations. In 1996 he was asked to serve on the Advisory Board Committee for Amarillo Colleges Mortuary Science Program, and a board member of the Panhandle Funeral Directors Association. Currently he is serving as board member of Dimmitt Chamber of Commerce, Castro County Farm Bureau, member of Dimmitt Lions Club, and a member of First Baptist Church in Dimmitt.

Eva Mendez-Mullins
Owner/ Funeral Director Eva was born in Abilene, Texas to Siprino and Teodora Mendez. She was raised in Baird, Texas where she graduated from Baird High School in 1990. She then attended the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service and graduated in 1991-'92. She has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer for over 16 years. She has held many positions in the funeral industry. She has one daughter, Baylee, who is 8 years old and keeps her and her husband extremely busy.In 2004 Eva and her husband, Mike, built and established Colonial Funeral Home in Dimmitt, Texas. Both her and her husband believe very strongly in family values, honesty and integrity. Eva is very involved and dedicated to the community of Dimmitt. She was the Executive Director for The Dimmitt Chamber of Commerce, past President for PTO, Rotarian, member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority, PTO Secretary and member of the First Baptist Church of Dimmitt. She and her husband strive to accomodate each and every family they service, and to provide to each family. "Excellence" in the funeral service they select.

Bay Baldridge
Funeral Assistant Bay Baldridge has lived in Dimmitt, Texas for 38 plus years. He is a member of First Baptist Church of Dimmitt. He has served as a Deacon for 43 years, and 38 of those years at First Baptist Church of Dimmitt. He is a Castro County Commissioner Precint #3 since 1994. He has worked in the funeral profession as a part time funeral assistant for several years. He has been employed with Colonial Funeral Home since 2005.

Trish Elliot
Funeral Assistant Trish retired from the Farm Service Agency in 2003 after 38 years of government service. She has been married to Don Elliott for 40 years, and they own Don's Body Shop in Dimmitt. Their son Tim, operates the body shop and they have another son, Wade who is a GEICO insurance claims adjuster in Adams, New York. They have 4 grandchildren, Gracie and Austin Elliott of Adams and Dustin and Cody Venhaus of Dimmitt. Trish is an active member of the Dimmitt Rotary Club and 4th and Bedford Church of Christ. She is on the Plains Federal Credit Union Board and is former Dimmitt City Council member, she is Chairman of Dimmitt's CUFUPU(Clean-up, Fix-up, Pride-up) Committee. Her hobbies include singing, gardening, traveling, antiquing old trunks and enjoying her grandchildren.

Bobbie Baldridge
Funeral Assistant Bobbie has lived in Dimmitt, Texas for 38 years. She is a member of First Baptist Church of Dimmitt, having served on several committees, teaching Sunday School and training union for several years. She is a homemaker and enjoys her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bobbie has been with Colonial Funeral Home since 2005.

L V Watts
Funeral Assistant L.V. Watts was born and raised in Hereford, Texas, he graduated from Hereford High School. He moved to Abilene, Texas to work for First National Bank of Abilene, he returned back to Hereford and went to work for First National Bank of Hereford. He spent 18 years as an independent insurance agent. The last few years he has worked as a medic for Hereford EMS. He has worked part-time in the funeral profession for 6 years. He has been employed with Colonial Funeral Home since 2005. He is a member of First United Methodist Church of Hereford and Past Master of Hereford Masonic Lodge #849.
