Life Legacy
Helen Lucille Kuntz, 86, of Hereford formerly of Dimmitt, passed away on April 9, 2010 in Hereford, TX. Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 11:00AM Monday in the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Derrel Evins and Joe Schultz officiating. Private Family Graveside will be held in Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Dimmitt under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home. Family visitation will be held on Sunday from 6:00PM - 8:00PM at the funeral Home.
Helen was born on Dec. 9, 1923 in Hereford to Charles and Alice Anthony. She was raised in the Big Square Community near Flagg. She attended schools in Hereford, Big Square, Lazbuddie and Springlake Earth. After graduation, she attended Texas Tech University, and Draughn's Business School in Plainview. Her and her husband owned Flagg Fertilizer from 1957-1999. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dimmitt.
She is survived by 2 sons, Ricky Kuntz and wife Donna of Dimmitt, Charles Kuntz and wife Margaret of Wheeler, 1 daughter, Linda Perry and husband Richard of Hereford, 7 Grandchildren, Rick Perry, Cindy Perry, Grady Mason, Janet Kuntz, James Kuntz, Darin Kuntz, and Shannon Mason, 10 great grandchildren, Tate Mason, Sabre Mason, Stephen Mason, Hunter Mason, Brandon Mason, McKayla Mason, Brittney Mason, Carson Searle, Shyla Searle, and Brayden Kuntz, 1 great-great grandchild, Jadyn Ogle, 2 sisters-in-law, Ella Wilson of Fayettville, WV, and Kylene Anthony of Austin, TX, 1 brother-in-law, Charles Page Kuntz of Swiss WV.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Kuntz, 1 brother, Bob Anthony, and 1 grandchild, Brandon Mason
