Alfredo Pesina, 39, of Dimmitt, Texas passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, in Kress.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023, at 10:00AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Rev. Arockiaraj Malapady, Deacon John Nino and Deacon Richard Martinez as celebrants. Burial will follow in Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the care of Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt. Rosay will be recited on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at 6:00PM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Alfredo Pesina was born on October 28, 1983, in Reynosa Tamaulipas, Mexico to Jose Pesina Lopez and Andrea Mendoza Guzman. Alfredo lived in McAllen, TX for 15 years and in 2000 he moved to Plainview. He received his GED but learned many trades. He loved working in the oilfield in Odessa which that was where he was working before his death. Alfredo married Maria on June 30, 2018. Alfredo enjoyed playing pool, playing with deck cards, and the dices. He loved watching football and was a Tom Brady fan while also liking basketball. He loved spending time with his family and watching movies, cooking on the grill and enjoying his favorite food, entomatadas. Alfredo was very competitive when he played family games. He also loved working with roosters. Alfredo loved listening to the Mexican folklore songs. He was always available to lend a helping hand whether it be a friend or not. He was always happy.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Maria Pesina of Dimmitt, mother, Andrea Mendoza Guzman and husband Jose Martinez of Kress, father, Jose Pesina Lopez of Mexico, children, Alfredo Pesina, Jr.,Luis Pesina, Ivonne Pesina and Anahi Pesina all of Plainview, step children, Adamaris Arriaga, Yollet Arriaga and Axsel Arriaga all of Dimmitt, and brother Miguel Angel Pesina of Kress.
