Alphonse Kleman, 82, of Nazareth passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 in Nazareth surrounded by his family. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10:00AM in the Holy Family Catholic Church with Rev. Ken Keller and Deacon Bob Birkenfeld officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home. Rosary and vigil service will be held on Thursday at 7:00PM in Holy Family Catholic Church in Nazareth. Alphonse was born on March 16, 1931 in Nazareth to Arthur and Loretta Kleman. Alphonse grew up in Nazareth and was a long time farmer in Nazareth. Alphonse served in the United States Army from 1951 - 1953 and was a Korean War Veteran. Alphonse married Viola Huseman in Nazareth on January 17, 1955. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters as well as the Nazareth Lions Club. Alphonse is survived by his spouse, Viola Kleman of Nazareth, 3 sons, Richard Kleman, Mark Kleman and wife Missy, and Brad Kleman and wife Ashley all of Nazareth, 2 daughters, Leona Acker and husband Cary of Nazareth and Monica Fry and husband Troy of Wolfe City, TX, 1 brother, Carl Dean Kleman of Nazareth, 2 sisters, Leola Ramaekers of Nazareth and Agnes Schilling of Dimmitt, 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers, Elmer, Bernard, LaVern, Urban and Harold Kleman.
