Andrea Gonzales, 90, of Dimmitt, TX, died Saturday, April 23, 2016 in Dimmitt, TX.  Prayer Service will be at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel in Dimmitt, TX. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Abel Vargas, Jr., Pastor of Palabras De Vida Church, officiant. Burial will be in Castro Memorial Gardens in Dimmitt, TX. Arrangements by Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt, TX.

Andrea was born on November 29, 1925 in McCoy, Texas to Candelario and Adela Lopez Martinez. She married Celestino Gonzales in 1938 in Poteet, Texas, they moved to Dimmitt in 1964 from Poteet. Andrea was an independent and strong woman, she drove herself around town until recently. She was a homemaker and a member of Palabras De Vida Church.

Andrea was preceded in death by her parents; Candelario and Adela Martinez, her husband; Celestino Gonzales, 2 brothers; Esteban Gonzales and Andres Gonzales, 2 grandsons; Michael Gonzales and Fidencio Gonzales.

Survived by 5 Daughters: Stella Garcia of San Antonio, TX, Sandy Vargas of Dimmitt, TX, Lile Martinez and husband of Odessa, TX, Eva Sanchez of Hereford, TX, Martina Gonzales of San Antonio, TX

3 Sons: Henry Gonzales and wife, Ofelia, of San Antonio, TX, Celestino Gonzales, Jr. and wife, Beatrice, of Bryan, TX, Arnold Gonzales of Dimmitt, TX

37 Grandchildren, 56 Great Grandchildren, and Numerous Great Great Grandchildren
