Angelita Espinosa, 83, of Dimmitt passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on August 1, 2017.  Rosary will be recited on Sunday from 6:00PM – 8:00PM in the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Mass of Christian Burial being held on Monday at 10:00AM in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Rev. Raj Arockia, Deacon John Niño and Deacon Paul Herrera as celebrants.  Burial will follow in Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the care of Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt.

Angelita was born on November 21, 1933 in Floresville, Texas to Valentin Orosco Sr. and Viviana (Ramos) Orosco.  Angelita married Sam Espinosa, Sr. in 1953 in Corpus Christi, Texas.  They were married for 64 years.  Angelita had a passion for baking, cooking, sewing along with arts and crafts.  She also enjoyed working on her rose garden.  But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Those left behind to cherish her memories are her spouse Sam Espinosa Sr. of Dimmitt, 3 sons, Sam Espinosa Jr. of Dimmitt, Larry Espinosa and wife Mary of Waco and Paul Espinosa and wife Rachel of Amarillo, 1 daughter, Esther Espinosa of Dimmitt, 1 brother, Valentin Orosco Jr. of Corpus Christi, 3 sisters Maria Cantu, Lupe Reyes and Ursula Lopez all of Corpus Christi, 5 grandchildren, Angela Gomez, Laura Espinosa, Michael Espinosa, Bailey Espinosa and Sabian Espinosa, 2 great-grandchildren, Eric Lee Gomez and Ryver James Wolfe.

Angelita is preceded in death by her parents, Valentin Orosco Sr., Viviana Sanchez and step-father, Jose Sanchez, 1 sister, Leonora Orosco, 2 grandsons, Samuel Espinosa and Eric Espinosa.
