Angelita Morales, 75, of Hart Texas passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 in Hart.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 25, 2019 at 12:00PM in St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church with Rev. Arockiaraj Malapady, Deacon Paul Herrera, Deacon John Niño and Deacon Richard Martinez as celebrants.  Burial will follow in Hart Cemetery under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home.  Rosary will be recited on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at the church.

Angelita Morales was born on January 10, 1944 in Pearsall, Texas to Santos Guevara and Minerva (Ovalle) Guevara.  Angelita grew up in Stanton, Texas and then later married Federico Morales Sr. on September 12, 1964. Angelita was a para-professional at Hart Schools for many years. She owned and operated the Longhorn Café / Diner in Hart from 1992 to 2004.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially the little ones whom she would do anything for. She enjoyed and loved serving God and the Church and was always willing to lend a hand as a devout Catholic. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She will be forever loved and greatly missed by her family. She enjoyed baking, sewing, crocheting, quilting, and gardening and  she loved her flowers. She loved family gatherings, especially loved  Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter.  She loved cooking and baking for everyone.

Angelita is survived by her husband, Federico Morales Sr. of Hart, children, Norma Franco and husband Joe of Dimmitt, Federico Morales, Jr. and wife Guadalupe, and Miguel Morales and wife Sofia all of Hart, brothers, Jose Guevara of San Antonio, TX and David Guevara of Monahans, TX, sisters, Anita Treviño of Albuquerque, NM, Alicia Marquez and Alma Villa of Stanton, TX, 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Santos and Minerva Guevara, brothers, Seferino Guevara and Manuel Guevara and sister Adelina Villa.
