Anita Adams, 68, of Dimmitt passed away on October 25, 2011 in Amarillo. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday at 10:00AM in the First United Methodist Church in Dimmitt with Rev. Derrel Evins officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home. Anita was born on February 2, 1943 in Truby, TX. She lived and attended school in Hereford, Texas. On Aug. 12, 1961 she married Bobby Adams where they were longtime residents of Dimmitt. She worked at the local grocery store and as a security guard for Cerestar in Dimmitt. She loved playing golf with all of her golfing buddies. She will always be known as MEME to all those that knew and loved her. She is survived by 2 daughters, Sha Ebeling and Raneta Patton of Dimmitt, 1 son, Steven Adams of Lakewood, CO, 4 sisters, Barbara Bryant of Conroe, TX, Patsy Keenom and Juana Teague both of Phoenix, AZ, and Betty Hornsby of Cedar Hill, 1 brother, Alfred Turner of Anson, TX, 4 grandchildren, Mandi Ebeling, Jake Ebeling, Rye Patton, Cheyenne Adams and Amanda Gallegos, 1 great-grandchild, Braylynn Chavira.
