Anita Sabedra, 81, of Floresville, TX, died April 25, 2016 in Floresville, TX. A prayer service will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel in Dimmitt, TX. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 29, 2016 at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel in Dimmitt, TX, with Ray Sanchez of Church of the God of the First Born, officiant. Burial will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt, Texas.

Anita Sanchez was born on December 2, 1934 in Gillette, TX to Juanita Sanchez. She married Isaac H. Sabedra. She was a long time resident of Dimmitt, she was a member of Church of the God of the First Born. Anita was the "rock" of the family, and her family was very important to her. She enjoyed crocheting and making tortillas, and loved having her family together.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Juanita Sanchez Ruiz, her husband, Isaac H. Sabedra, 2 granddaughters, Jasmine Sabedra and Stephanie Martinez.

Survivors: 3 Sons: Isaac Sabedra, Jr. and wife, Andrea, of Odessa, TX, Julian Sabedra of Grand Prairie, TX, and Alejandro Garcia and wife, Rose Mary, of Lubbock, TX

3 Daughters: Lucy Sabedra of Floresville, TX, Rosa Sabedra and husband, David Davila, of Floresville, TX, and Mary Manriquez of Norman, OK

2 Sisters: Lina Happ of Oklahoma and Audrey Ramos of Albuquerque, NM

1 Brother: Ray Ruiz of Albuquerque, NM
