Ann Heck, 74, of Nazareth passed away Sunday, April 3, 2011 in Nazareth. Ann was born April 21, 1936 in Lamb County to James Louis and Martha Blanche Dowty. Ann graduated from Dimmitt High School. She married Charles Heck in 1954 and settled in Nazareth. She was a seamstress and homemaker. She was a very loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church of Nazareth. She is survived by two sons Charles Lee Heck and his wife Colleen of Wilmington, NC; Morgan Heck and his wife Shannon of Dumas; six daughters Dolores Palmer and her husband John Duggan of Amarillo, Beverly Abshere and her husband Phil and Belinda Heck all of Albuquerque, NM; Tammy Black and her husband Chad of Hart; Charlotte Motley and her husband Gary of Olton and Darlene Miller and her husband Randy of Darrouzette. Two brothers Ed Dowty of Vernon and Frank Dowty of Seattle, WA; three sisters Clara Harp of Wylie, Delle Moore of Dimmitt and Nell Henley of Lubbock. Sixteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by one son Dewayne Heck and two brothers David and Jim Dowty.
