Anthony Ricardo Enriquez, son of Juan Ramon Enriquez and Martha (Martinez) Enriquez, was born in Dimmitt, Texas on December 22, 1989, and departed this life on June 10, 2026, in Dimmitt, Texas, at the age of thirty-six years.
Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
Anthony graduated from Dimmitt High School in 2008 and continued his education at South Plains College in Levelland before earning his bachelor's degree in psychology from WTAMU in 2012.
His talent and determination lead him to follow HIS DREAMS of having his own band, playing a show at Gruene Hall and a sellout show at Billy Bob's.
Anthony was a gifted guitar player and talented songwriter whose passion for music touched countless lives. Many knew and loved him as one half of the Texas country duo Shotgun Rider, but his influence reached far beyond the stage and those celebrated years. As a solo artist, creative songwriter, and steadfast supporter of fellow musicians, Anthony generously shared his talent, encouragement, and love for music with everyone around him.
Through his songs, he connected with people on a deeply personal level, providing the soundtrack to cherished moments, lasting friendships, and treasured memories. His music will continue to live on in the hearts of those who listened, and his legacy will be carried forward through the lives he touched and the inspiration he gave to others.
Above all, Anthony's greatest joy were his nieces and nephew "His GIRLS and His BOY" but KYLIE is who filled his heart with LOVE.  Known to her as Uncle Ant.
Anthony is survived by his mother, Martha Enriquez of Dimmitt, TX, 2 brothers, Ramon Enriquez, Jr. and wife Chelsy of San Antonio, TX, and Christopher Enriquez and wife Maggie of Dimmitt, TX, 1 sister, Anyssa Enriquez and husband Brandon of Littlefield, TX, maternal grandparents, Juan Manuel and Connie Martinez of Dimmitt, TX along with 3 nieces, Kylie, Kamilah, and Alianna, and 1 nephew, Kingston.
He is preceded in death by his father, Juan Ramon Enriquez and paternal grandparents, Rafael and Rafaela Enriquez.
