It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Antonio Montemayor III, who departed this life on February 1, 2026, at the age of 51 years. Antonio Montemayor III was born on June 29, 1974, to Antonio Montemayor Jr. and Maria Rosa (Renteria) Montemayor in Dimmitt, Texas, and throughout this life touched the hearts of all who knew him. Antonio grew up in Hart, Texas and graduated from Hart High School.  Antonio will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering commitment to family and friends. Antonio dedicated himself to creating memories filled with laughter and love. His passions included driving and taking day trips, spending time with his nieces and nephew, watching Star Trek, playing monster trucks with his nephew, working with his hands and fixing things along with watching the Texas Road Show on Sunday.  He was huge Texas Tech sport fan.
Antonio Montemayor III is survived by his parents, Antonio and Rosa Montemayor of Hart, 3 siblings, Gabriel Montemayor, Jessica Montemayor and husband Noah Perez, and Edgar Montemayor and wife Rita all of Hart, along with 4 nieces, Xochimilco Perez, Alana Brigham, Xiomara Perez and Luz Montemayor, and 1 nephew, Acen Montemayor. Antonio will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege to know him.
The family will receive friends beginning at 3:00 P.M. with a rosary following at 5:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Colonial Funeral Home to gather in celebration of Antonio's life and to offer support to one another during this difficult time.
May Antonio Montemayor III rest in peace and may his memory be a blessing to all.
