Arlene Dyer Foster, 79, of Hart passed away Sunday, September 15, 2013 in Lubbock. Funeral services will be Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church of Hart at 2:00 PM with Rev. Wilbur Ormond and Rev. Tom Long officiating, burial to follow at the Hart Cemetery. Family visitation will be Tuesday evening at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00PM. Arrangements are being handled by Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt. Arlene was born November 4, 1933 to William and Frances Hoffman in Mantador, North Dakota. She grew up in Hale Center and graduated high school there. She married Jack Dyer on June 5, 1953 and moved to Hart in 1956. Jack passed away on February 20, 2000. She remarried Wamon Foster on September 2, 2007 in Haskell, Texas. She and Wamon enjoyed traveling. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hart and was a member of the Zealot Club and a member of the Golden Group. She is survived by her husband Wamon Foster of Hart; 2 sons Stanley Dyer and his wife Rhonda of Hart and Kim Dyer and his wife Suzanne of Marble Falls; 1 daughter Cindy Davis and her husband Lanny of Hart; 1 step-son Tim Foster of Oklahoma City; 1 step-daughter Jean Hendry of Denver, Colorado; 1 brother Harold Hoffman of Lubbock and 2 sisters Debbie Jackson of Lubbock and Donna Macik and her husband Ed of Anaheim, CA. 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; 7 step grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren She is preceded in death by her first husband Jack Dyer and by her brother Bill Hoffman You may go online and sign the guestbook at www.colonialfuneralhome.org
