B.C. Bossett 84 of Dimmitt died Thursday in Amarillo. Funeral Services have been scheduled for 10:30 A.M. Tuesday July 29, 2014 at Lee Street Baptist Church in Dimmitt with Rev. Billy Finch, officiating. Burial following in Castro Memorial Gardens by Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt. Mrs. Bossett was born February 18, 1930 in Hugo, Oklahoma to Lon and Sinai Harris Luton. She married Louie Bossett April 27, 1949 in Hugo. She was a dedicated Christian since 1963, LVN Nurse for Plains Memorial Hospital, loved her patients, family, neighbors and fireworks. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 son Bobby Bossett, 2 brothers Lon Luton and L.C. Luton. She is survived by 4 sons- Bernard Bossett of Dallas, Athol Bossett of Ida Bel, Oklahoma, Floyd Bossett of Washington, D.C. and Larry Bossett of Kermit, Texas, 3 daughters- Gwen Lewis of Dimmitt, Roberta Bossett of Lanham, Maryland, and Mary Compton of Washington D.C., 1 brother-Arnold Luton of Oklahoma City, 17 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Family visitation will be Monday 6:00 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
