Bea Cole, 97, of Hereford, TX, died on Sunday, April 3, 2016 in Hereford, TX. Family Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Colonial Funeral Home in Dimmitt, TX. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 11, 2016 at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel in Dimmitt, TX. with James Jones of 4 th & Bedford Church of Christ of Dimmitt, TX, and David Miller of Houston, TX, officiants. Interment will follow in Hart Cemetery in Hart, TX. Arrangements by Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt, TX.

Bea was born January 9, 1919 in Olton, Texas to Green Henderson and Frankie Ann Slover Henderson. She married Everett Cole on November 3, 1945 in Plainview, Texas. Bea had been employed by Newsom Grocery in Hart, TX, for 13 years, Taylor & Sons Grocery in Dimmitt, TX, for 13 years, and by Hart High School Cafeteria for 5 years. She volunteered for Good Neighbor's Club, Hart Golden Group, Hospice and The Rose Garden. She was a member of Hart Church of Christ and Bea and Everett Cole were Pioneer Citizens of the Year for Hart in 1988. Her hobbies included gardening, making jams and jellies, baking, quilt making, reading her bible, and most of all, being with her family.

Bea was preceded in death by her parents: Green and Frankie Henderson, husband: Everett Cole, 2 sons: Eugene Davis and Curtis Davis, daughter and son in law: Frankie Ann and Nathan Pevehouse, son in law: Carl Baker, grandson: Brett Davis, great grandson: Brett E. Davis, 4 brothers: Charlie Henderson, R. G. Henderson, Clifford Henderson and Frank Henderson, 5 Sisters: Anna Lou Huff, Nola Jobe, Lola Stewart, Mary Bliss, and Jane Schielock.

Survivors: 1 Son: Gary Cole and wife, Kathy of Hereford, TX

2 Daughters: Linda Baker of Greenwell Springs, LA, Carolyn Harman and husband, Billy of Dimmitt, TX

2 Daughters In Law: Diane Davis of Aadairsville, Georgia and Mary Davis of Conner, Montana

2 Sisters: Glee Williams of Canyon, TX, Joy Owens of Carlsbad, NM
