Beelee Ed Goodwin, son of James and Vulla Goodwin, known to friends and family as P.O., entered God's presence on October 2nd, 2018, at the age of 101 in Big Lake, TX. A celebration of P.O.'s life will be held Friday, October 5, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Dimmitt, with Rev. T.C. Broom officiating, burial to follow at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Dimmitt. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt. Family and friend visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM. At the funeral home.

A native of Dimmitt, Texas, he was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Francis, his daughter, K. Sharon, his son, Beelee Kent, his son-in law, Bill Dane, his granddaughter, K'Shon Paige and his great grandson, Travis Clay.

He will be missed by those that loved him. His children, Mike (Gail) Goodwin of Festus, MO, Ricki Dane of Big Lake, TX, and Debi Goodwin of Friona, TX. His grandchildren, Kent (Tiffany) Pullig of Big Lake, TX, Kirk (Leigh Ann) Pullig of Sailes, LA, Karla K. (Johnny) Fuentes of Iraan, TX, Robert Freeman of Big Lake, TX, Brent (Rosie) Bradley of Donna, TX, Brett (Rachael) Goodwin of Fountain Hills, AZ, Brandi (Bill) Gunn of Saint Louis, MO and Gabe (Ashlee) Goodwin of Clovis, NM. He was also blessed with nine brothers and sisters, Ruby, Flo, Faye, Gene, John, Alma, Hy, Vancy and A.W., 16 great grandchildren and 14 great, great grandchildren.
