Dr. B.H. Lee, 84 of Amarillo formerly of Castro County passed away Saturday, June 14, 2014 in Amarillo. Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of Dimmitt at 2:00 PM with Dr. Clinton Lowen officiating. Private family burial will be in West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Dimmitt. Arrangements are being handled by Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt. Dr. Lee attended and graduated Springlake-Earth schools and graduated from Baylor University and University of Texas Southwestern Galveston Medical School. Dr. Lee practiced in Dimmitt for many years and retired in Dimmitt in 1994. He enjoyed raising Quarter Horses and racing them; he also enjoyed fishing and working in his garden and all sports from Baylor University. He was an avid Baylor Bear fan. He loved spending time with his family but most of all he spending time with his grandchildren. He survived by his wife Rubie Lu Lee of Amarillo and 6 daughters; Lori Beaver of Houston, Bonnie Golino of Bradenton, Fl; Julie Lee of Austin; Darla Baggett of Cedar Park; Debbie Schumacher of Toronto, K.S.; and Teresa Lindsey of Dimmitt; one sister Geraldine Elmore of Lubbock; 8 grandchildren Lauren Golino, David Beaver, Margaret Thomas, Michelle Newman, Tucker Schumacher, Van Jeter, Heather Jeter and Kris Lindsey and 6 great grandchildren Thomas Newman, Sidnee Newman, Mason Jeter, Scarlett Lindsey, Analyce Robertson and Daegan Robertson You may go online and sign the guestbook at www.colonialfuneralhome.org
