Bubba Smith, 16, of Dimmitt, Texas passed away and entered heavens gates on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, in Lubbock.
Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at Abundant Life Family Church with Pastor Jeremy Howell officiating.  Burial will follow in Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the care of Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 2, 2025, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Bubba was a sweet and loving young man.  He was a very special boy who touched many hearts.  Everyone who met him loved him.  He enjoyed watching SpongeBob and cuddling in bed with all his big plushies.  Bubba's smile lit up the room, and he had an unforgettable laugh.  He loved hanging out with his big sister and his mom.  Bubba was his mom's ride or die.  Anywhere she went, Bubba went.  Bubba will be greatly missed.
Those left behind to cherish Bubba's memories are his mother, Tracy Garcia and Jaime Sifuentez of Dimmitt, father, Christopher Smith and wife Casey of Amarillo, sister, Kristavia Smith and Marcus Aguero of Dimmitt, brother, Christian Smith of Amarillo, step brothers, Nick Streater and Micheal Villegas both of Amarillo, maternal grandmother, Josie Garcia of Dimmitt and paternal grandmother, Gloria Calloway of Wichita Falls, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins along with his dog, Jasper.
Bubba is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Reynaldo Garcia Jr. and Benjamin Smith.
