C arlos (B.B.) Castillo Jr. 51, of Dodge City, Kansas formerly of Dimmitt, Texas passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020 in Dodge City. Public viewing will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2020 from 1:00PM to 3:30PM at the funeral home. A private family funeral service will follow for the immediate family with Pastor Valentine Martinez of Living Faith Christian Church officiating. Funeral and cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt.

Carlos Castillo Jr. was born in Dimmitt, Texas to Carlos Castillo Sr. and Juanita (Campos) Castillo on August 19, 1968. Carlos attended schools in Dimmitt and then later became self employed as a landscaper. He worked for many people in the summer months mowing lawns, landscaping yards and working on sprinkler systems. During the winter months he would be putting up Christmas lights for the community. He volunteered for the Dimmitt Volunteer Fire Department for many years. In 2009, Carlos moved to Dodge City, Kansas and began working for Dodge City International.
Carlos enjoyed collecting model cars and model airplanes and anything that had to do with John Deere collectibles. Carlos will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Carlos is survived by his wife, Joy Hradecky of Dodge City, KS, mother, Juanita Castillo of Dimmitt, TX, 2 daughters, Victoria Cabrera of Muleshoe, TX and Camri Waller of Hart, TX, 2 step-sons, Kristopher Hradecky and Justin Hradecky of Lincoln, NE, 4 brothers, Juan Castillo, of Dimmitt, TX, Ricardo Castillo of Hereford, TX, David Castillo of Amarillo, TX and Caesar Castillo of Weatherford, TX, 6 sisters, Nora Ojeda of Horseshoe Bay, TX, Carmen Oltivero of Hereford, TX, Carlota Castillo of Amarillo, TX, Trini Castillo of Buckeye, AZ, Nati Molina of Plainview, TX, and San Juanita Peralta of Dimmitt, TX and 5 grandchildren.
Carlos is preceded in death by his father, Carlos Castillo Sr., brother, Daniel Castillo and grandfather, Juan Campos.
