Carroll Burnam, 72, of Amarillo passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014 in Amarillo. Memorial services will be Monday, August 11, 2014 at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel in Dimmitt, Texas at 10:00 AM with Pastor Shane Nease officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Colonial Funeral home of Dimmitt. Carroll was born April 8, 1942 to Bill Sullivan and Veda Mavis Hulin Burnam in Dimmitt, Texas. He grew up in Bovina but was a resident of Dimmitt for more than 20 years. He married Eileen Williams on July 10, 1960. He owned and operated Guymon Express in Guymon, Oklahoma from 1988-2004. He has been a resident of Amarillo for approximately 15 years. He enjoyed motorcycles, motor skiing, wood-working; building wood projects and 4-wheeling. He is survived by his wife Eileen Burnam of Amarillo, 2 sons Randy Burnam and his wife Shannon of Amarillo and Dennis Burnam of Canyon, 1 sister Pat Beiner and 1 brother Bill Burnam both of Hereford; 6 grandsons and 4 great grandchildren He is preceded in death by his parents.
