Centrie was born May 13, 1933 Tom, Oklahoma to Thompson Allen and Lillian Burris. Centrie graduated Idabell High School in Idabell, Oklahoma and graduated from West Texas University in 1980. She married Ellis Mayberry November 7, 1951 in Oklahoma City, Ok. She moved to Dimmitt Texas in 1958 from Memphis Texas. She is retired from the Dimmitt School System, she was a member of Texas Retired Teachers Association, she was a member of the Dimmitt area Retired School Personnel, and a member of the 4th and Bedford Church of Christ. Centrie is survived by a daughter Zenitha Ann Rosales and husband Refugio of Amarillo, Tx, two sons Ellis Robert Mayberry and wife Sharon of Rowlette, TX, Thompson Hart Mayberry and wife Alice of Canyon TX, two step sons James Ellis Mayberry and wife Tracie and Herman Mayberry and wife Marie. 7 grand children, 2 great grand children, 7 step grand children and 13 step great grand children. Numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by parents, husband: Ellis Mayberry, Sister: Melissa Mae Rogers, Brother: Robert Lee Johnson.
