Cesario Aguero, Jr., 70, of Dimmitt, Texas, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026, in Dimmitt, surrounded by his loving family.

Cesario was born on August 26, 1955, in Wharton, Texas, to Cesario Sr. and Manuela (Benitez) Aguero. In 1981, he married Yvonne (Guerra) Aguero, and together they relocated to Dimmitt. For over fifty years, Cesario operated Aguero Trucking. He drove his first semi-truck at just 12 years old, and his passion for truck driving ran deep—he often remarked that trucking was in his veins. Cesario was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Dimmitt.

Cesario found joy in listening to music, especially "Corridos," shopping, going to the movies, dining out, and cruising around town. He was constantly smiling, happy, and was known for cracking jokes. He loved spending time with his family, grilling out, and sharing stories. Cesario also loved helping those in need.

Those left to cherish his memories are his three children, Cynthia Yvonne Aguero, of Dimmitt, Texas, Hope Marie Ontiveros and her husband Oscar of Dimmitt, Texas, and Cesario Aguero III and his wife Christy Abeyta of Hereford, Texas; nine grandchildren, Angel Aguero, Kaitlyn Aguero, Alexandra Medina, Orlando Ontiveros, Yarellie Ontiveros, Ivan Ontiveros, Aracely Ontiveros, Cesar Aguero, and Celeste Aguero; nine siblings Lupe Ruiz (Humberto), Ramon Aguero (Maria), Ruben Aguero (Juana) all of Dimmitt, Texas, Anna Moreno (Manuel) of Dallas, Texas, Angela Castillo (Hector), Rosalinda Guerra (Gustavo) both of Laredo, Texas, Estela Casares (Raul) of Weslaco, Texas, Elisa Aguero, and Jose Aguero both of Dimmitt, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Cesario Sr. and Manuela Aguero, and his wife, Yvonne Aguero.
