Christell Wilcox, 93, of Dimmitt passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 in Dimmitt. Graveside service will be held on Thursday at 4:30PM in West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Dimmitt with Pastor Seth Pitman officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home. Christell was born on December 2, 1918 in Brushy Creek, TX to Porter and Charity Moore. She was a resident of Dimmitt for 61 years. She married Arthur Wilcox on November 16, 1935. She worked as a supervisor in the cafeteria for Dimmitt Independent School District where she retired. She enjoyed fishing, camping and crafts. She is survived by two sons, Stanley Wilcox and wife Linda of Hereford and Bob Wilcox of Mineral Wells, six grandsons, 1 granddaughter, seventeen great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Wilcox, one son, Joe Wilcox, a grandson, Dusty Wilcox, two sisters, her identical twin, Christine Moke Taack and omega Johnson, one brother, J.B. Moore, and a daughter-in-law, Yvonne Schoemaker Wilcox.
