Conrado Saucedo of Dimmitt, TX, passed away peacefully on March 6th, 2025, surrounded by his adoring and loving family. He was 74 years old, born on February 17th, 1951, to Pedro Saucedo Martinez and Sara Saucedo Correa, in La Joya, Poanas, Durango, Mexico. He was the oldest of six siblings. In 1968 he traveled to the United States to pursue the American Dream, and cemented a legacy that will succeed him for generations.

Wednesday, March 12, 2025, visitation starts at 6:00 with a rosary being recited at 7:00-7:30 P.M. and a vigil at 7:30-8:30 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home.

A Memorial Mass will be Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Ernesto Lopez presiding.

He was a loving husband and protector, who exemplified strength and fidelity; he married the love of his life, Olga Saucedo, on January 15th, 1978. Together they built a life full of love, laughter, and happiness that will continue forever. He is survived by Mrs. Olga Saucedo and their 3 children; Conrado Saucedo (Stephanie Saucedo), Bianey Garza (Orlando Garza), and Gino Saucedo, and his 5 grandchildren (Lucas, Anaya, and Uriah Saucedo)(Alina and Amarie Garza).

Conrado was the ultimate family man. He loved supporting his kids and grandkids, and could frequently be found in the stands of all their sporting events and school activities. He enjoyed bike rides, welding, gardening, and was an adventure seeker. He saw joy in all things, found humor in everything, and loved making other people smile. He loved cooking, and could often be found in the kitchen making pancakes for his grandchildren. He loved dancing and most of all, investing the most expensive thing; time. He adored time spent with those he loved.

Our beloved Conrado showed everyone what it was to love and be loved.  He exemplified humility and hard work. He dedicated much of his life to serving others and his selflessness was reflected in everything he did. He was a devout follower of Christ and a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church, and a member of the Holy Cross in Dimmitt, TX. As a family, we hold on to the promises of our Lord that, "Whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life," (John 3:16).

Conrado Saucedo; husband, father, grandfather, and brother will forever be loved and remembered until we are all reunited once more in the fullness and glory of our God.

El señor Saucedo tenía 74 años, nacido el 17 de febrero de 1951, a sus padres; Sr. Pedro Saucedo Martinez y la Sra. Sara Saucedo Correa, en La Joya, Poanas, DGO, México. Conrado era el hijo mayor de seis hermanos. En 1968, Conrado Saucedo se mudo a los Estado Unidos en búsqueda del "sueño americano", y consolidó un legado que lo sucederá durante generaciones.

Conrado fue un esposo amoroso y un protector, que ejemplifico fortaleza y fidelidad; se casó con el amor de su vida, la Sra. Olga Saucedo, el 15 de enero de 1978. Juntos construyeron una vida llena de amor y felicidad. Le sobreviven la Sra. Olga Saucedo y sus tres hijos; Conrado Saucedo (Stephanie Saucedo), Bianey Garza (Orlando Garza) y Gino Saucedo, y sus 5 nietos; (Lucas, Anaya, y Uriah Saucedo)(Alina y Amarie Garza).

Por excelencia, Conrado fue un hombre de familia. Le encantaba apoyar a sus hijos y nietos en toda forma, y frecuentemente se podía encontrar en los eventos deportivos y escolares de cada uno de ellos. Disfrutaba de los paseos en bicicleta, la soldadura, la jardinería y era un buscador de aventuras en cada hecho.  El veía alegría en las cosas pequeñas, encontraba humor en todo, y tenía el regalo de poder hacer sonreir a todos.  Le encantaba cocinar y a menudo se le podía encontrar en la cocina preparando panqueques para sus nietos. Le encantaba bailar y sobre todo, invertir lo más preciado; su tiempo. Adoraba pasar tiempo con sus seres queridos.

Nuestro amado Conrado nos mostró a todos lo que era amar y ser amado. Dedicó gran parte de su vida como servidor y su altruismo se reflejó en todos sus hechos. Fue un seguidor devoto de Jesucristo y sirvió como miembro de la iglesia católica, Inmaculada Concepción y de Holy Cross, en la ciudad de Dimmitt. Nos unimos en fe como familia a la promesa de nuestro Señor que, "todo aquel que en él cree no se pierda mas tenga vida eterna" (Juan 3:16).

Conrado Saucedo; esposo, padre, abuelo y hermano, por siempre será amado y recordado hasta que estemos todos reunidos, en la gloria y plenitud de nuestro Dios.
