Daniel Santiago Garcia, 55, of Dimmitt, TX died on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 in Dimmitt, TX. Prayer Vigil will be recited on Friday, September 5, 2014 at 6:00 PM at Immaculate Conception of Mary Catholic Church in Dimmitt, TX. Funeral Service will be on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception of Mary Catholic Church with Father Marco Gonzalez, Deacon Paul Herrera and Deacon John Nino, officiating. Burial will follow in Bovina Cemetery, arrangements by Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt, TX. Daniel was born on November 21, 1958 in Tulia, Texas to Juan DeDios and Teresa (Miranda) Garcia. Daniel graduated from Dimmitt High School in 1979. After graduation he attended TSTI in Amarillo. He had been employed by Dimmitt Independent School District at the bus barn and also with 3K Feedyard. His hobbies included cooking, fishing and grilling for his family. He was a member of Immaculate Conception of Mary Catholic Church. Daniel was preceded by his grandparents, and a sister Mary Lou Chambless.
