Daniel Rodriquez, 55, of Dimmitt, Texas passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, in Amarillo.  A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at 6:00PM at the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel.  Cremation Services are under the care of Colonial Funeral Home.

Danny was born on November 2, 1966, in Dimmitt, Texas and raised by his parents Narciso Gauna ad Emilia (Lopez) Gauna.  He attended school in Dimmitt and became a farmer.  Danny married Rebecca (Casas) Rodriguez on June 6, 1984.  Danny was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved spending time outdoors.  He enjoyed singing and playing the bajo.  He will always be remembered by his willingness to make people laugh and helping others in time of need.  But most importantly he was an amazing husband, dad, and grandpa to his family.

Danny is survived by his wife, Rebecca Rodriguez of Dimmitt, son, Daniel Ivan Rodriguez of Dimmitt, 2 daughters, Candis Rodriguez of Bremond and Laura Rodriguez and husband Jessie Lara of Dimmitt, 4 grandchildren, Nathaniel Nino, Madison Lara, Mia Rodriguez, and Paisley Lara along with several brothers and sisters.

Danny is preceded in death by his parents and 3 siblings.
