Danny Dones, 46, of Dimmitt, passed away in Amarillo on October 4, 2011. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 10:30AM in the Immaculate Conception of Mary Catholic Church in Dimmitt with Rev. Arthur Rodriguez as celebrant. Burial will follow in Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt. Rosary will be recited at 6:00PM in the church on Friday with Vigil Service following. Danny was born and raised in Dimmitt and attended school there. He became a welder and an electrician. He was a loving father, husband, son, brother, and grandfather. Danny is survived by his spouse, Rosa Dones of Dimmitt, his father, George Dones of Georgetown, TX, 2 sons, Daniel Dones of Dimmitt and Jason James Dones of Abilene, 2 daughters, Jessica Ramirez and husband Ernie of Dimmitt and Priscilla Rojas and husband Brian of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, 4 brothers, David Dones of Mexico, Raul Dones, Raymond Dones, and Johnny Joe Rodriguez all of Dimmitt, 1 sister, Irene Beliz of Lazbuddie, TX, 9 grandchildren.
