Dominga Garcia, 90, of Hart, Texas, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023, in Dimmitt, Texas. Funeral services will be on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at 10:00 AM at the Hart First Baptist Church with Pastors Rudy Garcia and Roger Velasquez officiating. Burial to follow at Hart Cemetery. Arrangements and services have been entrusted to Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt, Texas.  The viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, from 1:00 – 8:00 PM, and vigil service at 6:30 PM at the Pentecostal Church in Hart, Texas.

Dominga was born on April 20, 1933, in Mission, Texas, to Frolian and Romanita (Coronado) Reyna. She has been a resident of Hart, Texas, for 75 years. Dominga took much pride in raising her children and caring for her husband. She loved to garden her flowers, drink her morning coffee, and enjoy her favorite holiday, Christmas, and all the beautiful lights and decorations she would display in her home. Dominga's love and passion were her Lord, church, The Revival Center, and family. She would love to visit with anyone about God when given the opportunity. She will be dearly missed by many.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Richard Garcia and his wife Dominga, Robert Garcia and his wife Lupe, and Amelia Velasquez all of Hart, Texas, Rudy Garcia and his wife Elba, Roger Garcia and his wife Maria all of Plainview, Texas, Lydia Garcia,  Alicia Fernandez and her husband Albert, and Ramiro Garcia and his wife Susie all of Hart, Texas, Melissa Mata and her husband Joe of Plainview, Texas, and Marilu Galvan and her husband Hector of Olton, Texas; 33 grandchildren, 68 great-grandchildren, and 16 great-great-grandchildren; her siblings, Manuela Gonzales of Amarillo, Texas, Carmen Gonzales, David Reyna, and Noemi Velasquez and her husband Roger all of Hart, Texas, Daniel Reyna and his wife Alejandra of Stephenville, Texas, Martha Reyna of Plainview, Texas, Delores Castillo and Gloria Rodriguez both of Hart, Texas.

Dominga is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Rafael Garcia, Melquides Gonzales, her siblings, Moses Reyna, Fortunato Reyna, Josephina Reyna, and John Reyna, her grandsons, Israel Garcia, Robert Garcia, Jr., Nickie Garcia, and Michael Garcia, her great-grandson Alexander Diaz and a great-granddaughter Allison Garcia, her sons-in-law, Rey Valesquez, Sr. and Richard Menchaca.
