Virginia Taylor, 87, of Wichita Falls, formerly of Dimmitt, Texas passed away on November 4, 2015 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday at 1:00PM in the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Seth Pitman officiating. Burial will follow in Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00PM - 7:00PM. Virginia was born on September 22, 1928 in Montague, Texas to Henry Lee and Bessie (Zahn) Scheller. Virginia later married D.C. Taylor on March 7, 1948 in Dimmitt where they lived for more than 60 years. She owned and operated Taylor's Garage alongside her husband D.C. Taylor for many years until retirement. Virginia was a longtime member of the Fourth & Bedford Church of Christ and she enjoyed gardening in her spare time. Virginia is survived by 1 daughter, Evelyn Dodson of Wichita Falls, 2 sisters, Rose Taylor of Plainview, TX and Elaine Wright of Wichita Falls, TX, 3 grandchildren, Amy Pitman, Clint Dodson and Jennifer Turner, and 6 great-grandchildren, Jordan Pitman, Hunter Pitman, Kialie Dodson, Calan Dodson, Logan Le Blanc and Landon Turner.
