Ella Dean Chambliss Ella Dean Chambliss, 67, of Lazbuddie passed away April 2, 2011 in Dimmit. Services will be Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at the Lazbuddie Church of Christ, at 2:00 PM, with Ministers Skip Rodgers and Gerald Paden. Burial will follow at the Lazbuddie Cemetery. Family visitation Monday, April 4, 2011 at Colonial Funeral Home, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home. Ella was born on January 29, 1944 in Wichita Falls Texas, to U.S. and Wanda Bullock. Ella graduated from high school in Denver City. Ella was a strong and faithful member of the Lazbuddie Church of Christ where her husband Mickey Chambliss Sr. is the minister. Ella enjoyed reading, sewing and doing many crafts, but most of all Ella loved being with and taking care of her family. She is survived by her husband Mickey Chambliss Sr.; her father U.S. Bullock of Natchitoches LA; a son, Mickey Chambliss Jr. and wife Nora of Lubbock; two daughters Melissa Ramon and husband Baldamar of Fort Worth, Marlana Tanaro and husband Trent of Earth; a niece Misti Carter and husband Tim of Amarillo; 6 grandchildren Mickey Chambliss III and wife Latoya, Kenneth Chambliss, Courtney Lane, Brandon Ramon, Timothy Tanaro, and Tyler Tanaro; a great- grandchild Mia Chambliss. She is proceeded in death by her mother Wanda Alley; and a sister Jackie Sue Ward.
