Elmina Vasquez Garcia, 85, of Hart, TX, died on Monday October 5, 2015 in Hereford, TX. Viewing will be held Thursday, October 8, 2015 from 10:00 A.M to 8:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 9, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. in the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lorenzo Martinez officiating. Burial will follow in Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery of Dimmitt, TX. Services are under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt, TX. Elmina Garcia was born on October 21, 1929, in Corpus Christi, TX, to Juan and Josephina (Campos) Vazquez. She married Pablo Garcia on December 19, 1945 in Corpus Christi TX. She was a loving wife and mother of twelve children. She is preceded in death by her husband Pablo Garcia, one son: Esteban Garcia, one daughter: Flora Bates, two grandsons: Robert Anthony Garcia and Isreal Garcia, one great granddaughter: Allison Raynea Garcia, two brothers: Bonefacio De La Cruz and Claude Jackson. Survivors: 7 Daughters: Paulita Ruiz of Bishop, TX, Valentina Allen and Rosario Garcia of Oklahoma, Lupe Garcia of Hart, TX, Agnes Garcia and Aida Garcia of Hereford, TX, Grace Garcia of Gainesville, TX. 4 Sons: Robert Garcia of Dimmitt, TX, Ezekel Garcia and Elezar Garcia of Hereford, TX, Christopher Salinas of Sherman, TX. 33 Grandchildren and many Great-Grandchildren.
