Erika Jimenez Montemayor, 37, of Garden City Kansas, went home to Jesus on December 22, 2020 in Naples, Florida. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 10:30 AM at St. John Catholic Church with Rev. Arockiaraj Malapady, Deacon John Niño and Deacon Richard Martinez as celebrants. Burial will follow in the Hart Cemetery under the care of Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt. Rosary and Vigil will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 6:00 PM at the church.

Due to COVID – 19 you must wear a mask while at the church, provided by you. Your health and safety matter to us.

Erika was born in Monterrey, Mexico to Reynaldo and Paulita Montemayor on February 22, 1983. Her family moved to Hart, TX where she attended Hart High School and graduated in 2001.

She married Cifredo Jimenez, on September 3, 2008 and resided in Olton, TX, then moved to Garden City, KS. Erika and Cifredo were blessed with three beautiful children whom she adored and shared countless memories.  Erika and Cifredo are proud owners of multiple businesses. Erika loved her family, and her parent's cooking, she was an amazing cook herself. Erika was a successful businesswoman, free spirited, took risks and enjoyed life to the fullest.  She had a heart of gold, was humble and very giving.  Erika was deeply loved by all her family, friends and coworkers.

Those left to cherish Erika's memories are her husband, Cifredo Jimenez, her children, Karla Ronquillo, Ulises Jimenez, and Giselle Jimenez all of Garden City, Kansas, her parents, Reynaldo and Paulita Montemayor of Hart, mother in law, Antonia Lopez vuida de Jimenez, of El Salvador, Mexico,  three sisters, Nerybel Garcia and husband Jacob of Amarillo, Nereyda Norman and husband Corey of McKinney, and Nancy Montemayor of Hart, her nieces and nephews, Corey Norman, Haylee Garcia, Aaron Norman, Alexia Garcia, Klarissa Garcia, and Kamila Jimenez and numerous in- law, aunts, uncles and cousins. .

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Raynaldo Montemayor, Sr., maternal grandparents, Pedreo and Mariana Corrales, and her father-in-law, Jose Antonio Jimenez Alvarenga.
