Esmeralda "Nana" Navarro Lopez, 55, of Dimmitt, Texas passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2020 in Dimmitt. Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Abundant Life Family Church at 10:30 AM with Rev. Tom Mullins officiating.  A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00PM to 8:00PM. Cremation services have been entrusted to Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt.

Esmeralda was born on August 9, 1965 in McAllen, Texas to Andres Navarro Sr. and Sofia (Tovar) Navarro. She graduated from Dimmitt High School in 1985 and later married Ruben Luna Espinoza Sr., after his death she then married Daniel Lopez in 1999 in Dimmitt, Texas. She worked for Miller Farms in Hart, Texas for 15 years driving tractors and running a module builder. She was a member at Abundant Life Family Church for many years and her hobbies included playing Loteria (Mexican Bingo) and listening to Ramon Ayala's music. Esmeralda loved spending time with her family and loved her grandchildren dearly. She will be missed by many.

She is preceded in death by her father; Andres Navarro Sr., her brother; Rafael Navarro Sr., her husband; Ruben Luna Espinoza, Sr. and her husband; Daniel Lopez.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children; Ruben Espinoza, Jr. and wife Bianca of Dimmitt, Ruby Castillo and husband Gabriel of Robert Lee, TX, Victor Lopez and his dog (Daisy) of Amarillo, Desiree Ortiz and husband Jesus of Dimmitt, TX and Ezkiel Lopez of Dimmitt, TX, her mother; Sofia Tovar Navarro, her brothers and sisters; Andres Navarro Jr. and wife Elvia of Dimmitt, Maria Reyes and husband Leo of Dimmitt, Alejandro Navarro of Lubbock, her twin brother; Oscar Navarro and wife Connie of Dimmitt, Oralia Navarro Segura and husband Ricardo of Dimmitt, and Sergio Navarro and wife April of Dimmitt, 15 grandchildren; Madison, Sedric, Ruben Devin III, Kriselle, Chassidy, Rori, Meah, Esmeriah, Jayce, Mason, Aydin, Preston, Katelynn, Gabriel Jr.and Joel.
