Ezequiel Hernandez, 71, of Dimmitt passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2019 in Dimmitt. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Dimmitt with Celebrant Arockiaraj Malapady, burial to follow at Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt, Texas. Rosary and vigil will be Tuesday evening at 6:00 PM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Ezequiel was born November 14, 1947 in Jalisco, Mexico to Francisco and Juana (Martinez)  Hernandez. Ezequiel has been a resident of Dimmitt since 1980. He married Sara Diaz on June 22, 1969. He farmed most of his life, working hard as a farmer and enjoyed being on the farm. Ezequiel was a very happy person and had a strong faith, he enjoyed listening to music and singing, he enjoyed leading the good life. He will be missed dearly by his wife, sons and daughters. Ezequiel was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Dimmitt.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Sara Hernandez of Dimmitt, Texas; his children Sanjuana Hernandez and her husband Jildardo Diaz; Concepcion Hernandez and her husband Salvador Muñiz; Juana Hernandez and her husband Sergio Navarro all of Jalisco, Mexico; Leticia Ramirez and her husband Pablo Ramirez of Edmonson, Texas; Maria Rodriguez and her husband Efrain Rodriguez of Dallas, Texas; Adela Rentena and her husband Adan Rentena of Arizona; Elizabeth and her husband Bruno Rodriguez; Rogelio and his wife Miriam Hernandez both of Hereford, Texas; Martin Hernandez  and his wife Maribel of Dimmitt, Texas; three brothers Manuel Hernandez and his wife Florencia of Jalisco, Mexico; Abel Hernandez and Israel Hernandez both of Dimmitt, Texas and a sister Elvia Hernandez of Jalisco, Mexico; 28 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.

Ezequiel is preceded in death by his parents, one son Roman Hernandez and one brother Refugio Hernandez.
