Faustino Porras Jr., 42, of Dimmitt, Texas passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017 in Dimmitt.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church beginning at 10:00 AM with Rev. Arockiaraj Malapady, Deacon John Niño and Deacon Richard Martinez as celebrants.  Burial will follow in Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt.  Rosary will be recited on Friday evening from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM in the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel.

Faustino Porras Jr. was born on May 20, 1975 in Guymon, Oklahoma to Faustino Porras Sr. and Rosalinda (Favela) Porras.  Faustino grew up and attended school in Dimmitt.  He worked as a truck driver in the oil industry.  He enjoyed listening to music and working on vehicles during his spare time, but above all he enjoyed spending time with his family.  He will always be remembered for his joking around and his laughter around friends.

Faustino is survived by his spouse, Maria D. Porras of Dimmitt, 3 children, David Porras, Faustino Porras III and Jaqueline Porras all of Dimmitt, his parents, Faustino Porras Sr. and Rosalinda (Favela) Porras, sister, Olga Grado of Monahans.
