Feliberto "Gilbert" Sepeda, 83 of Dimmitt passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2015 in Dimmitt. Funeral services will be Monday, August 10, 2015 at the First Baptist Church of Dimmitt at 10:00 AM with Rev. Antonio Rocha officiating, burial to follow at Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt. Prayer service will be held Sunday evening at 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Gilbert was born February 4, 1932 in Cotulla, Texas to Jesus and Concha Sepeda. He was raised in Dilley, Texas. He moved to Dimmitt when he was 19 years old. He worked in the agriculture business all of his life. He was married to Eva Correa Sepeda for 65 years. He enjoyed and loved to fish, hunt, cook , build birdhouses and watch wrestling, but he especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He survived by his wife Eva Sepeda of Dimmitt; 2 sons, Freddie Sepeda and his wife Rita of Dimmitt and Feliberto Zepeda and his wife Guadalupe of Dallas; 1 daughter Velma Cordova of Dimmitt; 1 sister Odelia Lopez and her husband Roman of Grand Prairie; 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by 3 brothers, 2 sisters and 1 great grandson
