Fidel Garcia, Jr., 45, of Dimmitt, Texas passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021 in Amarillo, Texas. Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Abel Vargas, Jr. officiating. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt. Viewing will begin on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 11:00 AM.

Fidel was born on February 6, 1976 to Fidel and Maria Luisa (Ramos) Garcia in Weslaco, Texas. Fidel married his wife Connie Garcia on December 20, 2000. He owned GBG transport and was a trucking broker. He was a member of Palabras de Vida Church. Fidel loved fishing, singing, listening to music, his favorite band was La Mafia. He enjoyed joking around and was sure to call anyone and everyone, he never met a stranger and was always down for the good times. Fidel was a loving husband and father.

Those to cherish his memories are his wife Connie Garcia of Dimmitt, his son, Fidel Garcia, III, his mother Maria Luisa Garcia of Amarillo, four brothers, Rudy Garcia and wife Elizabeth, Roel Garcia and fiancé Margarita, all of Amarillo, Edmundo Garcia and wife Jessica, Alejandro Garcia all of Hereford, and 10 nieces and nephews.

Fidel is preceded in death by his father Fidel Garcia, Sr..
