Fortunato "Nato" Reyna's Obituary
Fortunato Reyna, 91, of Hart, Texas passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2018 in Lubbock, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at 5:00PM in St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Hart, Texas with Rev. Arockiaraj Malapady, Deacon Paul Herrera and Deacon John Niño as celebrants. Rosary service will be recited on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 6:00PM at Colonial Funeral Home with vigil service to follow. Burial will be held in Hart Cemetery under the direct care of Colonial Funeral Home.
Fortunato was born on October 22, 1926 in Mission, Texas to Froilan Reyna and Romanita (Coronado) Reyna. Fortunato married Maria (Garcia) Reyna on June 15, 1952. He served in the United States Navy and was a longtime resident of Hart Texas where he was owner and operator of a trucking company which he will be remembered as a hard worker until the end. Fortunato enjoyed spending his time singing and dancing but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Fortunato is survived by his wife, Maria Antonia Reyna of Hart, 8 daughters, Senaida De La Fuente of Hart, Sally Carrasco of Hart, Senobia Diego of Hart, Sabina Godino of Plainview, Susie Reyna of Lubbock, Priscella Rincon of Hart, Lisa Licerio of Plainview and Nadia Reyna of Hart, 3 sons, Steven Saul Reyna of Hart, Javier Reyna of Lubbock and Jesus Chia of Mission, 10 siblings, David Reyna, Juan Reyna, Daniel Reyna, Dominga Gonzalez, Carmen Gonzalez, Rebecca Rodriguez, Naomi Velasquez, Nellie Gonzalez, Martha Reyna and Delores Castillo, 36 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
