Francisco "Frank" Ledesma, 78, of Hart, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2017 in Olton. Memorial services will be Wednesday at 3:00 PM in the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jesse Ramirez officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt. Family and friend visitation will be Tuesday evening at the funeral home from 5:00-7:00 PM.

Frank has been a Castro County resident since 1963. He married Evangelina Flores in 1956. Frank was a farmer the majority of his life, but also worked as a welder and truck driver. He enjoyed wood working, fishing, working in his yard and on his automobiles, conversing with those that would strike up a conversation with him; he was a great mathematician and was a very friendly gentleman; but above all this his greatest enjoyment was spending time with wife, children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Evangelina of Hart, and his children, Luciano Ledesma of Minneola, KS. Irene Gonzales of Clarksville, Ark. Anna Ledesma of Kingsley, KS. Freddie Ledesma of Hart, Linda Reyna of Canyon, Diana Salido of Rifle, CO. Frank Ledesma, Jr. of Dimmitt, Daniel Ledesman of Dodge City, KS. Victoria Ledesma of Killeen, Rebecca Ledesma of Hart,  Rita Ledesma of Amarillo and Melissa Ledesma Padilla of Hart; four brothers, Luciano Gonzales of Houston, Jose Gonzales, Domingo Ledesma of Seguin and Matthew Ledesma of San Antonio; 46 grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Rebecca Ledesma and a sister, Florencia Garza.
