Gabina A. Rocha, 68, of Lordsburg, New Mexico passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019 in Hart, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 10:00AM in the St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Hart, TX with Father Arockiaraj Malapady, Deacon John Niño and Deacon Richard Martinez as celebrants. Burial will follow in Hart Cemetery under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt, Texas. Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 6:00PM at the church.
Gabina A. Rocha was born on February 19, 1951 in San Luis, Potosi, Mexico to Fernando Acosta Sanchez and Gregoria (Ramirez) Acosta. She and her family moved to the United States in 1997 from Mexico. Gabina married Regula Rocha in Mexico and had been married for 41 years. Gabina loved to work with in her rose garden, cooking for her family, helping her husband with mechanic jobs, spending time in Mexico, but most of all she loved her husband, her children and her grandchildren above everything else.
Gabina is survived by her husband, Regulo Rocha of Lordsburg, NM, children, Sandra Moreno and husband Isaac of Ft. Worth, TX, Karina Gonzales and husband Gustavo of Hart, TX, Yecica Gamez and husband Leonardo of Hart, TX and Miguel Rocha and wife Miriam of Ft. Worth, TX, sisters, Lupe Acosta, Matilda Acosta, Aleja Acosta, Lucas Acosta and Socorro Acosta all of Mexico and Alicia Rodriguez of Houston, TX, along with 3 grandchildren.
Gabina is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Elena Acosta.
