Ginger Laurent, 76, of Dimmitt, Texas passed away on Monday, July 1, 2019 in Dimmitt.  Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 2:00PM in the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Abel Vargas officiating.  Cremation Services are under the care of Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt.

Ginger Laurent was born on September 26, 1942 in Plainview, Texas to Floyd C. (Bill) Keeling and Hazel (Moody) Keeling.  Ginger grew up in Plainview, Texas and later married Donald Laurent on February 8, 1958, celebrating 63 years of marriage.  Ginger enjoyed sewing, listening to Christian music, studying her bible and going to the mountains, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.  Ginger will always be remembered as a great wife and mother who loved her family dearly.

Ginger is survived by her husband, Donald Laurent of Dimmitt, TX, children, Reggie Laurent and wife Nancy of Dimmitt, TX, Rhonda Reyes of Dimmitt, TX, John Laurent and wife Laura of Clovis, N.M. and Lisa Alvarez and husband Joe of Dimmitt, TX, 18 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Ginger is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd C. (Bill) Keeling and Hazel (Moody) Keeling and brother, Rodney Keeling.
