Obituary

Robert (Bob) Bradley was born on June 2, 1938 in San Angelo, Texas to James H. Bradley and Julia Moore Bradley. He went to work at a young age on the farm and ranch with his father. He graduated from Hereford High School and attended the University of Colorado. He continued to work the farm and ranch until the early 80's outside of Hereford, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Colorado. He worked as a ranch foreman for a large ranch outside of Alpine Texas in the 90's, then moved to Austin and worked for a development company building golf courses until his retirement. Bob was an intelligent man, wise, straight forward, hardworking, strong, humble, sincere, and a bit of a prankster. He cared about the ones he was close to. He taught his children how to drive a tractor when they could not even reach the clutch or brake pedal. He taught on how to respect, maintain, fish, hunt, clean and cook what had been gathered. He had excellent gardening skills while working on the farm.   He wanted his children to be determined, to stand up for their beliefs and not to be afraid to fight as long as they were right. He did this and much more throughout our childhood. It is greatly appreciated the values he instilled and for the time that was spent together.

Bob is survived by his 3 sons, J. Robert Bradley Jr. of Jacksboro, Texas, James A. (Beau) Bradley and wife Kelly of Decatur, Texas and Jason Trey Bradley and wife Kim of Decatur, Texas, sister, Judy Beutel and husband Ray of Dallas, 2 grandsons, Jacob Bradley and Dalton Bradley of Denton, Texas.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, James H. Bradley and Julia Moore Bradley and a brother, Jim Bradley.
