Jack Bradford, 73, a lifelong resident of Dimmitt, Texas, passed away on Sunday, December 3,

2023, in Lubbock, Texas. Arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted to Colonial

Funeral Home of Dimmitt, Texas. Family and friend visitation will be on Wednesday, December

6, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home.

Jack was born on January 25, 1950, in Dimmitt, Texas to James Edward and Dorothy Mildred

(Lust) Bradford. Jack attended and graduated from Dimmitt High School in 1968; shortly after

graduation, he went on to Southern Methodist University (SMU), and later transferred to Texas

Tech to earn his degree in Business Management in 1973. He and Susie were married on July

14, 1973 and they recently celebrated their Golden 50th wedding anniversary. Jack and Susie

made their home in Dimmitt, where Jack farmed and ginned for 40 years and was Co-Owner of

North Gin. He and Susie loved to travel. They traveled extensively, some of their travels took

them to Canada, Costa Rica, Japan and South America. Jack's presence, good stories, and

many jokes will be missed by his family, many friends, and the community of Dimmitt.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Susie Bradford of Dimmitt, Texas; his

daughters, Laura Bradford and her wife, Kate McPherson of Austin, Texas, and Sarah McClure

and her husband, Zachary of Dimmitt, Texas; his favorite little dog, Shugee; 2 grandsons,

Kristian Kai McClure and his wife, Alexia, and Nathan James Camarillo, all of Dimmittt; 1 great

grandson, Caleb McClure of Dimmitt, and 1 great-granddaughter on the way; his siblings, Bob

Bradford and wife, Irene of Charlottsville, Virginia, Kent Bradford and wife, Barbara of Davis,

California, Jim Bradford and his wife, Sally of Dimmitt, Texas and Jean Whitehead of Amarillo,

Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mildred Bradford, a Brother-in-law,

Steve Hartt, and Sister-in-law, Paula Bradford.

The family request memorials be made to Dimmitt Hospital District, EMS Service.
