Jason Kyle Smothermon, 42, was born on August 11, 1970 and went to be with his Savior on April 3, 2013. Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 2:00PM in the First Baptist Church in Dimmitt with Pastor James Peach of Frio Baptist Church and Pastor Craig Albracht of Hillside Christian Church in Amarillo officiating. Burial will follow in Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt. Family visitation will be held on Monday, April 8, 2013 from 6:00PM - 8:00PM at the funeral home. Jason was a veteran of the United States Navy, he enjoyed singing, listening to music, woodworking, and working with his dad. Jason is survived by his parents, Jackie and Delbert Smothermon, his sons, Zjhon, Skyler, Joshua, and Dillon, his daughters, Hailey, Kaitlyn, and Alexis, his brothers, Terry and wife Cindy, Michael and wife Norma, and Mark and wife Tracy along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
