Jesus Carrasco, 93, of Hart, passed away on March 22, 2011 in Olton, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 1:00PM in St. John's Catholic Church in Hart with Rev. Lupe Mayorga officiating. Burial will follow in Hart Cemetery in Hart, TX under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited at 7:00PM in St. John's Catholic Church on Wednesday. Jesus was born on May 6, 1917, in San Jose, Texas to Alvino and Gabriela Carrasco. He married Trinidad Carrasco on October 10, 1943 and moved to Hart in 1963. He was employed by H&S Produce in Hart and retired in 1982. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Jesus is survived by his wife, Trinidad Carrasco of Hart, 3 sons; Abelino Carrasco, Guillermo Carrasco, and Johnny Carrasco all of Hart, 5 daughters; Adela Carrasco Moroles and Emma Carrasco Longoria both of Edingburg, TX, Genoveva Carrasco Montemayor of Hart, Yolanda Carrasco Watson of Montgomery, TX and Sylvia Carrasco Montemayor of Hart, 2 brothers; Gaspar Carrasco of Dallas, and David Carrasco of Hart, 3 sisters; Maria Granado of McCamey, TX, Manuela Gonzales of Morton, TX, and Ramona Barrandey of Odessa, TX, 31 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild. Jesus is preceded in death by 1 son; Dario Carrasco and 1 grandson; Christopher Carrasco both of Hart.
