Jewell Faye Hackleman, 87, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on October 25, 2016 in Las Vegas surrounded by many friends.  Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 in the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Jonathan Sullivan of the First Baptist Church of Dimmitt officiating.  Burial will be in Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direct care of Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt.

Jewell was born on August 31, 1929 to William Ray Hackleman and Ina Belle Hackleman in Dimmitt, Texas.  She worked for Bank of America before her retirement and then she enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of her pets.

She is survived by 1 son, Russell E. Stringfield and wife Kay of Ft. Worth, 1 brother, Billie Wade Hackleman and wife Ruth of Dimmitt, 2 granddaughters, Stephanie Kay Moseley and husband Austin of Carrolton, and Christie Johnston and husband Mike of San Antonio, 4 great-grandchildren, Aidan Moseley, Mackenzie Moseley of Carrolton, and Brandon Johnston and Shelby Johnston of San Antonio.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 1 daughter, Patricia Ann Lowrance and 1 brother, Rondia Hackleman.
