Joe "Jr." Manzanales, 15 of Earth, Texas passed away December 13, 2016 in Lubbock. Funeral services will be Monday at the Iglesia de Pueblo (City Church) in Earth at 10:00 AM with Pastor Abel Vargas, Jr. officiating burial to follow at Earth Memorial Cemetery in Earth, Texas.  Arrangements are being handled by Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt. Family and friend visitation will be Sunday evening from 5:00-7:00 pm at the funeral home and a prayer service will begin at 6:00 pm.

Jr. was born March 6, 2001 in Littlefield, Teas to Joe, Sr. and Melissa Laura (Garza) Manzanales. Jr. loved animals and being outdoors, he enjoyed listening to his music and hanging out with his buddies. He loved football and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. He was a very social and outgoing individual, but his greatest attribute was his big heart, and his kind and giving ways. Jr. truly loved his sister and his dad, but here lately he was sure missing his mother and sister who passed away in 2008.

He is survived by his dad, Joe Manzanales, Sr. of  Earth, his sister, Ariana Marie Manzanales of Dimmitt, his step-mom, Jessica Marmolejo and step-brother, Christopher Marmolejo both of Dimmitt; his fraternal grandparents, Domingo and Eva Manzanales and paternal grandparents, Joe and Rosa Garza all of Earth, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Melissa Laura Manzanales and a sister Bianca Marie Manzanales both passed away in 2008.
