John Stephen Cook, 30, of Amarillo, Texas, died on Sunday, April 13, 2014 in Amarillo, TX. Memorial Services are scheduled at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 18, 2014 at Bell Avenue Baptist Church 5211 Bell Street Amarillo, TX. with Brother Danny Logan, officiant. He was raised in Midland, TX. , then later lived in Burleson, and then moved to Amarillo, TX. in 2013. John was a self-taught talented musician from the age of 13. He loved music and playing his guitar, playing in several bands. His hobbies included body building and entertaining family and friends by imitating famous voices. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, M. B. Boykin, and best friends, Jordan Singleton and Russell Schriener. Survivors: Mother: Sharon L.
