John Henderson's Obituary
John Henderson, 56, of Dimmitt passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018 in Amarillo. Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 10:30AM in the First Baptist Church with Pastor Jonathan Sullivan officiating. Cremation will follow under the care of Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt. The family will receive friends from 5:00PM – 7:00PM on Monday, November 19, 2018 at the funeral home.
John Henderson was born on September 9, 1962 in Dimmitt, Texas to Billy Jo Henderson and Margaret Ann (Sargent) Henderson. John grew up in Dimmitt and graduated from Dimmitt High School in 1981. He then attended Amarillo College and graduated with a Computer Science Degree. He worked at Northwest Texas Hospital as a technical engineer. John enjoyed fishing, WWE wrestling, motorcycles, hunting, travelling, hiking and playing pool with his friends. John will be mostly remembered by his love for his family.
John is survived by 3 daughters, Keshia Henderson of Dimmitt, Elyssa Henderson of Dimmitt, Hanna Henderson of Dimmitt, 2 sons, Jonathan Henderson of Eustis, FL and Braden Thames of Dimmitt, 2 brothers, Jimmy Henderson and Marshall Henderson of Dimmitt, 2 sisters Debbie Morgan of Westway and Karen Hoelscher of Wylie, 3 grandchildren, Andrew Prudhomme, Grace Ann Prudhomme and Sophia Henderson.
John is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Janie Ward.
