Johnny Don Tilley, 66, of Dimmitt, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 in Dimmitt. Graveside service will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, September 25, 2021 in the Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Deacon Richard Martinez officiating. Local funeral arrangements are under the care of Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt.
Johnny Don Tilley was born on April 3, 1955 in Hereford Texas to L.C. Tilley and Faye Lene (Murphy) Tilley. Johnny grew up in Spur, Texas and then began working for Cargill in Plainview for 30 years. He later then worked for United/Amigos for 7 years. He will always be remembered for the love he had for his family and his gardening. He will be truly missed by all.
Those left behind to cherish his memories are his brothers, Roy Tilley of Plainview, TX and Bruce Tilley (Kathy) and family of Sanger, TX, sister, Joyce Jan Kunz and family of Ogilvie, MN, his family, Thomas Falcon and mom Maria Falcon of Dimmitt, TX along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Johnny is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, L.Z. (Sonny) Tilley, Ronnie Tilley and sister-in-law, Frieda, Bobby Dean Tilley, Billey Tilley, Donnie Tilley and Jackie Tilley, sisters, Beverly (Cooke) Dickerson and Vicky Joyce Tilley.
